Leeward House Retreats is actively seeking volunteers to be a part of our Family Buddy program. As a Family Buddy, you will be assigned to one of our guest families to make sure they are getting the support and connection they need during camp. What does that look like?
Welcome your family on arrival and help them get settled.
Make sure your family knows the schedule and what activity is coming up next.
Encourage participation and make sure everyone knows what to do.
Help supervise and engage the children during our parents-only activities.
Be the go-to person for your family if they have any problems or concerns, connecting them to our Camp Coordinator for help.
Important Information:
Ages 18+ preferred.
Must complete a background check.
Training (virtual) is provided and required for all volunteers.
Volunteer hours available.
Separate volunteer housing provided, 2-4 per room.
Leeward House covers your costs for lodging, food, and activities during camp.
