A place where foster and adoptive families can come together to strengthen relationships, build trust, and find support from other foster and adoptive families who understand their journey.

Who can attend?

Leeward House Retreat camps are for foster and adoptive families who are in need of connection, encouragement, and support. Each family is required to complete a short application prior to finalizing registration to ensure our staff can accommodate any special needs. We want the best experience for your family!

Get Away & Get Outside

There is something powerful that happens when you get away and spend time in God’s beautiful creation. Stress begins to melt away. Family bonds grow closer. Laughter and joy increase.

Family Fun

Our schedule will allow plenty of time to have fun together as a family. Spending time together creates lasting memories and strengthens the family bond. Camp activities may vary each year, but past favorites have included zip lining, archery, and a nightly campfire.

A Special Evening for Parents

A special onsite date night dinner for parents only is included at all retreats. Parents will enjoy a nice dinner in a private area, complete with soft music, candlelight, and uninterrupted conversation. Meanwhile, the children will enjoy their own fun dinner and activities with our trained staff. The evening then concludes with everyone joining back together for family activities.
